Think holiday cottage, and supersize it!
North Highfield is the major portion of a Victorian gentlemen’s residence on the edge of Lake Windermere, a large holiday house available to rent all year round. It is a true home, we spend at least a week a month here ourselves. We equip it as well as you would expect your own home to be equipped. Our guests give us very positive reviews.
Nine of us friends had a wonderful time at North Highfield. So beautiful, and the garden an absolute delight. We swam in the lake, did the Staveley 10k run, had 2 fantastic walks. Lots of delicious cooking in the marvellous kitchen, enjoyed the spacious lounge and library and sang at the piano. Most brilliant break – we’ll be back

North Highfield was fabulous for our multi-family long weekend. This huge property felt luxurious, and relaxed and very comfortable. Brilliantly equipped for all ages, plenty of baby gear. It feels like being in the middle of nowhere, while having the advantages of very easy access to the South lakes. We had a wonderful stay.
